On Friday 16 of November, thanks to the visit of Beatriz Calvo-Merino —City University College London— and Guido Orgs —Goldsmiths University College London— we could enjoy a seminar activity about “Action and Embodied Aesthetics” at @UIBuniversitat

Beatriz Calvo-Merino presented “Neurocognitive mechanisms of Embodied Aesthetics”.

Guido Orgs presented “Joint action aesthetics in live dance performance”.

Lecture of Ana Pérez Manrique PhD Thesis: “Varieties of empathy in bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus)”.

On March 26, 2018, PhD student Ana Pérez Manrique, member of the Human Evolution and Cognition research group (EvoCog), presented her PhD Thesis, entitled “Varieties of empathy in bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus)“.  His work was supervised by Dr. Antoni Gomila Benejam. The doctoral lecture led to the achievement of her PhD diploma.
The event was held at 10:30 AM, in ‘Sala de Graus’ at the Antoni Mª Alcover i Sureda building, on the UIB campus.
